Grand Rapids, MN Fall Engagement Photos

When Alexa messaged me about wedding photography I was thrilled! I had met her and Hayden a few years ago at Alexa’s brother’s wedding (check it out HERE). Alexa was one of the bridesmaids and I remember her being just the sweetest! I couldn’t be more excited to get to know her and Hayden better through their engagement session and wedding planning!!

Alexa and Hayden will be getting married next August in Sartell, MN which is just outside of St. Cloud, but they drove here, to Grand Rapids for their engagement session. Alexa was hoping to get some gorgeous fall color in her engagement photos and was quite surprised by how colorful the trees in this area already were. Grand Rapids is at its peak right now and the St. Cloud area has just slowly begun to turn. It is always so crazy to me what a difference going north a few hours makes in weather and climate changes! Here in Grand Rapids our leaves are just about done changing color and we have already experienced our first snow-which happened about an hour before Alexa and Hayden’s engagement session started!! Ahh!

And although it was a pretty chilly day, Alexa looks as beautiful and natural as ever in these photos! Her and Hayden are the cutest couple! They take some gorgeous portraits, but I also caught quite a few big laughs, funny looks, and spit out tongues! Haha! You can tell they have so much fun together and make the perfect pair!
