A Grand Rapids, MN Fall Engagement Session

When Lexi first messaged me about wedding photography I was ecstatic! Grand Rapids is a small town and I have known “of” Lexi for years. I am lucky enough to know a few of her sisters and even had the pleasure of taking her younger sister’s senior photos a few years back. So when Lexi inquired about wedding photography, I gave her a quick and hearty “YES!” I was so excited to get to know this beautiful woman and to meet her fiancé, Allen!

The forecast predicted rain for days before Allen and Lexi’s session. I was frequently checking my weather app and other weather sites, hoping the rain would hold off. Thankfully the rain did hold and we were able to keep our date! As the session progressed the sky grew increasingly darker and we were all keeping our eyes on the large dark wall of clouds that was inching closer and closer. We hurried through a few more photos as the thunder began to rumble. Thankfully we were able to finish just in time and we booked it to the parking lot as the lighting began to strike and the drops started coming down!

I had the greatest time with Lexi and Allen. They have the cutest relationship. It was so fun to watch them laugh and play together. Allen is sweet and kind and absolutely hilarious. He is the perfect man for Lexi-he makes her laugh and loves her deeply. The two of them have trusted the Lord with their relationship and He has blessed them greatly. I am so excited for their December 2017 wedding!
