Duluth Engagement Session

I’m going to apologize ahead of time for this extra long post! This engagement session is jam packed with way too many gorgeous photos not to share!

I met Tim and Jessica for the first time at their engagement session in Duluth! They chose to go to Chester Park and then down to Lake Superior and my goodness what great locations! I had never been down to Chester Park before but I will most definitely be back! This park is packed full of beautiful trails along the river, raging water falls, quiet streams, towering trees, intricate root systems, and lots of rock! And the amazing thing is that Chester Park is located right in the heart of Duluth! Amongst the business of everyday life sits this impressive nature escape.

After some fun exploring around the park we headed to the lake-which is equally impressive. Jessica wore a gorgeous floor length emerald green dress that paired so perfectly with Lake Superior as it blew gently in the wind. Taking photos of these two was completely effortless! Jess had mentioned that she was a bit nervous about being in front of the camera as most people are, but she could have fooled me!

I obviously loved this session for the gorgeous locations, but getting to know Jessica and Tim was so much more fun! They are such a classy, kind, and considerate couple, but they also know how to have fun and are down to earth and so comfortable to be around! I couldn’t be more thrilled to be their wedding photographer! Their wedding will be in Grand Rapids next summer with a reception at Sugar Lake Lodge-the resort that Jessica’s family has vacationed at for years! I really could go on forever about how perfect and beautiful everything was, but I’ll let you see for yourself in the photos below!
