A Kettle River, MN Wedding

Phil and Stephanie’s stunning Kettle River Wedding was something out of a dream. There was not a cloud in the sky and the sun shone all day long. This was a wonderful contrast to the rainy days we had been experiencing. I was eager and a little anxious for the wedding as it was my first time “back in the game” since having baby Lyla. I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better couple to kick off my busy fall wedding schedule!

As we arrived at Stephanie’s parent’s home, the girls were putting the last touches of makeup on and ensuring every detail was in place. Everyone was surprisingly calm and relaxed and excited for the day ahead! After Stephanie had her dress on and was ready to go, we headed outside for her to meet Phil. My photographer heart skipped a beat when I saw a line of huge beautiful trees arching over the dirt road that led to the house! It was the perfect backdrop for Stephanie and Phil’s portraits! I am so excited to share these images with you as they are some of my very favorite wedding images to date!

The day rolled on quickly, as most wedding days do. Stephanie and Phil were married at the adorable small town church that Stephanie grew up in.   And although Phil may play the “tough guy” role, it is obvious that he is crazy in love with Stephanie and that they are both committed to a lasting and true love. After several hugs and “congratulations”, they headed off to their reception. It was a most beautiful day, and for Stephanie and Phil it was one of thee most beautiful days of their lives!
