A Destination Wedding on Sugar Lake
Jenna and Joe drove over 1,000 miles from their Colorado home to say “I do” on one of Minnesota’s most beautiful lakes! It was a day to remember-from the stunning florals to the gorgeous lakeside venue-every detail was well thought out and put into place.
Friends and family from all over the country came to be a part of this grand celebration. They witnessed the love and friendship of Jenna and Joe take root into marriage and celebrated with them the rest of the evening.
Jenna and Joe were the first to hold a wedding at Sugarcrest, a new breathtaking outdoor venue on the shore of Sugar Lake just outside of Grand Rapids. Guests enjoyed a serene view of the lake’s sparkling Caribbean blue water, a cooked to perfection pig roast for dinner curated by the bride’s uncle, and one of the best dances I’ve ever been to! And even though each of these details is enough to leave you speechless, it was the love that the bride and groom shared on this special day that warmed my heart and brought joy to all those who were there.
This was the first time I met Jenna and Joe since they are not local to our area. Through a few Skype sessions I could tell they would be fun to work with, but I left the wedding that night feeling like I had made two new friends, confident in their love and commitment to one another and sure of their happiness to come!
