A lot of photographers are afraid of doing weddings-sometimes it is the planning that scares them or the pressure of remembering to shoot everything and not miss those “must have” shots like the bride walking down the aisle and the first kiss. And sometimes people are afraid of getting stuck working with a “bridezilla”. I have heard nightmare stories about bad interactions between brides and their photographers. But for some reason, I get the most adorable, kindest, easy going couples ever! I’m serious! I haven’t had one sour or negative experience with my wedding couples. God has truly blessed me with amazing clients like Donovan and Lauryn. These two are my kind of people and it was such a blast spending the evening with them, hearing about their plans for the future with school and their upcoming wedding, and talking about what God has done in their lives!

I met Donavon and Lauryn in Duluth at Lester Park-one of their favorites. We strolled through the many wooded trails and explored along the river. Then it was down to Brighton Beach to end out the night. Every time I am in this city I am amazed at all it has to offer!

I was eagerly looking forward to this engagement session for quite some time and now I am even more excited for their winter wedding this December! Donavon and Lauryn, thank you for being awesome-you make my job so easy and so much fun! I am so happy for the two of you and can’t wait to celebrate in a few short months!
