Clyde Iron Works Wedding, Duluth, MN

Ryan and Christine had a Clyde Iron Works wedding on a beautiful winter day in December! Clyde Iron Works is an industrial wedding venue in Duluth, MN. It holds so much beauty and history between its massive beams and aged brick walls. Once a bustling factory, Clyde Iron is now one of Duluth’s most prized wedding venues.

Clyde Iron Works was a machinery manufacturer that began in the early 1900s. Large cranes from Clyde built some of the most famous structures in our world-the Panama Canal, Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge! What a place to host your wedding!

Ryan and Christine also chose another prominent historical Duluth landmark to play an important part of their wedding day – Duluth’s Ariel Lift Bridge. They chose this location for the bulk of their outdoor wedding photos. And although Duluth’s weather forecast boasted a warm 20 some degrees prediction for the wedding day, this was far from reality. The wedding party was met with a brisk wind and single digit temperatures down by Lake Superior, but this brave crew put on their best smiles and endured the cold for some fun wedding photos!

This actually was the part of the wedding day that I enjoyed the most. Ryan and Christine have some of the best family and friends. You know you have a good group when they are willing to stand outside to take photos with you on a brisk winter day, enduring numb fingers, and wind so cold you can’t feel your facial expressions! And they weren’t just enduring the cold, they embraced it! The bridesmaids literally were having an impromptu dance party before we took their photos. Haha!

The day continued on with a much warmer time indoors at their Clyde Iron Works wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Superior Blooms arranged stunning floral center pieces that perfectly paired with the coordinated uplighting and candlelit tables. The ambience was wam and inviting and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating the newlyweds!

Ryan and Christine, I had such an incredible time spending the day with you and your amazing friends and family! You two are truly one of a kind and I could not be happier for you!
