Bluebelle Event Venue Wedding, Bemidji MN

Ryan and Alyssa were married on the last beautiful fall Saturday of the year at the Bluebelle Event Venue in Bemidji, MN! It was an absolutely gorgeous day and I am so excited to share a few photos with you all!

I am always so humbled by my role as a wedding photographer. I am invited into the most special parts of the day! It is such an honor and something I don’t take lightly. This also gives me a chance to get to know the couple and their friends and family, to see their relationships with one another and the dynamic of them all.

What I learned about Ryan and Alyssa during their wedding day is that they are loved by so many people, that they know how to have a good time, and that Ryan loves Alyssa with such a deep and caring love. From the first look, to the wedding ceremony it was obvious how they truly care for one another. After wedding party photos Ryan literally ran a half mile around the venue in his tux to find a golf cart for Alyssa to have a ride back on! Seriously, this guy has chivalrous qualities!

And when I told Ryan how it was so cool to see how much he loved Alyssa he attributed it all back to her. Ryan would say that Alyssa has made him a better man….and isn’t that the hope of marriage? That we better one another? I was standing next to a few guests as I photographed Ryan and Alyssa’s first dance. One of the girls next to me leans over and says, “You know…Ryan is the kind of guy that every parent would dream of for their daughter” She went on to talk about how he treats Alyssa so well and what a great match they make.

Of course my goal is always to take beautiful photos at weddings, but the ultimate goal is that those beautiful photos end up in the hands of a couple that will look back at them after decades of a beautiful marriage together. With Ryan and Alyssa, I have no doubt that will happen!

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Erickson! I am so happy for you!!!
