Barn in the Woods Wedding, Bovey, MN

Jared and Bekah were married last Saturday at the newest venue in town, The Barn in the Woods! This wedding was extra special for me because Bekah and Jared are my friends. I originally met them through church. Over the course of the past year and a half I have gotten to know them even better. It was such an honor to celebrate alongside them AND to be their wedding photographer!

When I showed up at The Barn in the Woods everyone was relaxed and enjoying their time together. The groomsmen were playing corn hole and the girls were finishing up their hair and makeup while sipping on mimosa. It was an unusually calm and laid back wedding morning. From the beginning of wedding planning Bekah has always kept her focus on marrying Jared and did not let the stress or anxiety of planning and picking out details consume her.

And even though the wedding day felt so laid back, everything turned out completely perfect and beautiful! Bekah looked absolutely stunning in her Christian Lane Bridal gown and Jared was as handsome as ever in his black tux. The bridal party was dressed in emerald green and black with white roses for florals-what a classic combo!

It was literally the hottest Saturday of the year, but this did not stop everyone from coming out and celebrating Jared and Bekah! They were married under a pavilion outside of the venue and enjoyed the rest of the evening with live music from the Laplants, a delicious meal put together by friends and family, some of the best speeches I have ever heard, and a whole lot of dancing!
