Ben + Jessica

Ben and Jessica had a beautiful intimate wedding on the north shore at Grand Superior Lodge! Most of the state was pounded with torrential down pours and flash flooding, but a small pocket of perfect weather graced their wedding day! I remember getting text messages from my husband about the tornado warnings they were getting back at home and the damage that the rain was doing, but all around us were clear skies with a light breeze. We were all relieved and so thankful that Ben and Jessica could go on with their wedding day and the gorgeous outdoor ceremony they had planned! At the end of the night we packed our bags and headed for the car and it was only then that the rain started to sprinkle down!

The wedding day began with the girls getting ready in a lake house on the resort. It was the most peaceful getting ready room I have ever walked into! Everyone was dressed with makeup and hair done and ready to go an hour before they needed to be! And this was how the day continued. We had endless options for photo locations and a completely stress free timeline. Pair that with the most adorable and kind couple and you get a dream wedding day!

It really was such an honor to be Jess and Ben’s wedding photographers! They are the sweetest people-so down to earth, kind, and fun! Jess has this giggly personality that just makes you smile and Ben is extremely thoughtful and kind and caring. They make the best couple and I can’t wait to watch them grow in their marriage and build their life together!
