The Grands at Mulligans Wedding

On the ride home after a wedding, I always chat about the day with my second shooter. We go over what went well, what was sort of tricky, what we enjoyed about the day, etc. But, on our 2 1/2 hour drive home from this wedding all we could talk about was how absolutely perfect the day was! From the weather, to the gorgeous details, to all of the vendors involved and all of the guests in attendance…this day was PERFECT! To top it all off, Hayden and Alexa are one of the most kind, fun, and generous couples I’ve ever met! They welcomed us in and made us feel like some of their best friends!

The entire day was spent at The Grands at Mulligans-what a place! The girls, mimosas in hand, prepared for the day in the bright and clean getting ready suite! Everyone was excited and a little nervous. Alexa looked absolutely radiant in her wedding dress. I mean, this girl ALWAYS looks amazing, so to see her in a wedding dress with her hair and makeup perfectly done was something else! She is truly stunning! Her and Hayden shared such a precious first look under a willow tree…again…it was perfect! Don’t miss those shots! The Grands at Mulligans has so many picturesque locations for photos. I was thrilled to see their outdoor ceremony spot which was under a sprawling oak tree and overlooked the perfected greens of the nearby golf course. Again…perfect! We ended out the day with an incredible reception. My dinner was so pretty I felt bad eating it (it had a flower as a garnish!). But the good news is, it tasted even better than it looked! Alexa and Hayden sure know how to throw a party! Guests enjoyed the multi dessert table, an epic dry ice smoke first dance, the shoe game, and a photo booth!

And although this wedding was a photographers dream, it really was the bride and groom that made everything so perfect! Alexa and Hayden are so kind and appreciative and absolutely a blast to be around! They really made my job way too easy. And they truly love and care for one another! It always warms my heart when you can so easily see a couples love for one another!

Alexa and Hayden, thank you SO much for letting Kristina and I come along on your wedding day and share in your excitement and joy! We couldn’t be happier for you two and feel so thankful to have celebrated with you!!!! I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I do!
