Mr. + Mrs. Jacobs

Duluth, MN Wedding Photography on Lake Superior

Chelsea and Cole had a gorgeous wedding on the shores of Lake Superior. It was a beautiful and HOT summer day-like one of the hottest days of the summer-but you won’t be able to tell in these photos! Chelsea looked absolutely flawless even in the 900 degree temps!

The couple shared a first look on one of Lake Superior’s beautiful pebble beaches as the waves crashed on the shoreline behind them. The day unfolded quickly after that with an outdoor ceremony at Leif Erickson Park. Friends and family from both near and far came to witness Cole and Chelsea say “I do”. There were also onlookers who watched at a distance from various benches and treed areas around the park. This reminded me of just how special wedding days are-that people who don’t even know the couple would stop their plans to witness complete strangers becoming husband and wife. Being a wedding photographer really is such an honor. To be able to be a part of a couple’s wedding day and get an inside perspective of every detail is truly a treasure. This is why I love what I do so much-I get to spend one of the happiest days of peoples lives with them!

After the ceremony, we headed to the Rose Gardens and Canal Park for a few quick photos. Then it was off to the reception at Barker’s Island Inn. I laughed (speeches are the best!) and I almost cried (those father daughter dances get me every time!!). It was a gorgeous day and I am so excited to share some of my favorite images from it with you!
