An Aitkin, MN Spring Wedding
I usually get pretty nervous before wedding days…there’s so much to think about from lighting to timing to the perpetual shot list. But, Adam and Alissa’s day was different. There is something about them that makes you feel right at home and relaxed. I still needed to think on my feet and do my best to ensure they had the most gorgeous photos from their wedding day, but Adam and Alissa’s calm and laid back personalities made me feel so comfortable and it was an absolute joy to spend the day with them!
These two have known each other since elementary school and started dating in high school. It was so cool to see them finally come together as husband and wife in their hometown! The day began at Adam and Alissa’s house. Anyone that has planned a wedding before knows that it is a full-time job in and of itself, but in the midst of planning their big day, Adam and Alissa have also been building the home of their dreams! They had been spending a lot of long, hard hours trying to finish the house enough so that the wedding party could get ready there. Their hard work paid off and we started the day in their gorgeous country home!
After a few first look photos we headed to town for the ceremony and reception. Adam and Alissa were joined by their family and friends as they celebrated their commitment of marriage to one another! It was a perfect spring day! I couldn’t be more happy for Adam and Alissa and I am so excited to share with you a few of my favorites!
