A Northern Minnesota Winter Wedding
I can not begin to tell you how extremely excited I am for Allen and Lexi to be husband and wife! It was such an incredible honor to get to know them, to now call them friends, and to witness AND photograph their wedding! These two have waited for each other for a long time and have stayed faithful to God’s call on their life. It was such a blessing to see their friends and family come around them and celebrate their joy together!
It was said a million times over on the wedding day-but Lexi is truly one of a kind. She is one of the most loving, thoughtful, and generous people I have ever met and she made for a GORGEOUS bride! She was the definition of radiant and when people say she is as beautiful inside as she is out, they really mean it! She has found her perfect match in Allen and they compliment each other beautifully.
We began portraits outdoors on a beautiful snow packed road that was lined with evergreens. The bridesmaids’ blue dresses popped against the bright white of the snow and made for some of my favorite wedding party photos. And although it was cold and I could see the goosebumps on Lexi’s arms, you can’t tell in these photos! I think the realization of it all was surreal and no amount of cold was going to dampen her excitement!
The couple went on to enjoy a romantic ceremony where they solidified their commitment to one another before God and their family and friends. Then it was on to the reception!! And what a celebration it was! I kid you not when I say, there was not even one spare inch of room on that dance floor! It was covered with giggling kids, excited guests, and an over joyous new Mr. + Mrs Hasbargen!
