Al + Gitona

2016-04-25_0016There is something about photographing weddings that truly brings me joy and satisfaction. The ornate details, the emotion a father experiences when he sees his baby girl in her wedding gown, the laughter of the wedding party, and ultimately the joy of the bride and groom are the things that make weddings for me! Al and Gitona had one of these days-so beautiful, perfectly planned out, and filled with anticipation, excitement, and joy.

We began the day at Gitona’s parents home. Gitona prepared for the day as she was surrounded by her family and closest friends.  She then ventured out into her backyard to see Al. Although we had been experiencing spring like weather just days prior to this weekend we were blessed with a beautiful white snowfall for the wedding day! The evergreen trees were sprinkled with light snow and became the perfect backdrop for photos as the morning sun shone through their branches.

Gitona was an absolutely stunning bride! She walked down a flower laden isle with her father, who also happened to be the pastor of the church. The father of the bride gave a compassionate and Biblically sound message to Al and Gitona-celebrating with them in their wedding ceremony and reminding them of the importance of the covenant they were making together before God.

The rest of the day was spent in celebration, laughter, and fellowship as friends and family congratulated the newlyweds and joined in their happiness. Congratulations Al & Gitona! Your wedding day was nothing short of amazing!

I couldn’t get over them! And the way the sun reflected off the sequences…..my word! 2016-04-25_00182016-04-25_00212016-04-25_00192016-04-25_00222016-04-25_00202016-04-25_00252016-04-25_00642016-04-25_00262016-04-25_00272016-04-25_00282016-04-25_00292016-04-25_00312016-04-25_00322016-04-25_00302016-04-25_00622016-04-25_00612016-04-25_00592016-04-25_00602016-04-25_00332016-04-25_00362016-04-25_00412016-04-25_00402016-04-25_00372016-04-25_00382016-04-25_00392016-04-25_00422016-04-25_00432016-04-25_00442016-04-25_00472016-04-25_00462016-04-25_00452016-04-25_00342016-04-25_00492016-04-25_00502016-04-25_00512016-04-25_00532016-04-25_00522016-04-25_00542016-04-25_00552016-04-25_00562016-04-25_00482016-04-25_00352016-04-25_00572016-04-25_0058
